SecuPlus and the environment

SecuPlus feels very strongly about evironment responsibility
SecuPlus is fully aware of the necessity of a clean and healthy environment and therfore makes every effort to have as little impact on the environment as possible. SecuPlus is able to meet this challenge on every front, from product design and packaging to the manner in which our products can be reused and/or recycled.
Product design
An important environmental advantage of SecuPlus products is that virtually all products are developed and produced in-house. This prevents not only unnecessary ait cargo traffic but also enables us to determine teh types and quantities of materials used and a production method that is least harmful to the environment from the design phase onwards.
An example of this is our powder coating department. At the strat of the 21st century, we switched from regular painting to the much more environmentally friendly powdercoating technique.
Packaging
The new packaging line introduced around the turn of the year from 2007 to 2008 is a good example of the kind of attention to detail found at SecuPlus, thereby ensuring the best possible environment friendly alternative.
The newly designed -smaller- boxes made of recycled cardboard not only protect the product better during transport but are also less detrimental to the environment. More products on each pallet means less transport and therefore less impact on the environment.
Sustainable products
More and more SecuPlus products are suited for reuse. Whereas assembled sets were once discarded when purchasing new equipment, it is now much easier for users to remove the sets and use them for the new equipment.
Products that are 100% reusable are marked with a padlock/recycling symbol.
